An independent working in Switzerland rarely has a competence problem: they have a time problem, and a word problem. A teacher from abroad knows how to teach; what is missing is the French of their classroom. A marketing professional knows how to sell; what is missing is the French of their clients. SWAN-Network deals with those gaps, and with nothing else.
Course prices are shown; consulting and company programmes are priced on proposal, after a first conversation that costs nothing.
French, from the level to the profession
Core track
A cycle covers the programme of one level of the Common European Framework, in a small group of three to six or one-to-one, online. It opens with an assessment that places you and closes with an assessment that says whether the level is acquired. In between, the course covers the programme; personal work, at home and alone, does the rest — one hour for every hour of class, and the programme guides it.
Specialisation track, from B1 — teachers, marketing and communication professionals
The French of your profession, run alongside the general level, on your own documents and real situations — your classroom, your clients, your letters. Two specialities: the French of teaching, for teachers who want to work in a Swiss school — speaking to colleagues, to the head and to parents, teaching your subject in French, understanding HarmoS and the curricula; and the French of marketing and communication, for professionals of the field who do not speak it yet — the vocabulary, the writing, meetings and presentations, up to the French you can put in front of a Romandy client.

How it works
We place you
An assessment places you in the European Framework and says which cycle to start with. It is free.
The cycle
The course covers the programme of the level, online, at the rhythm chosen when you enrol — one to five one-hour sessions a week. Personal work does the rest: one hour for every hour of class.
The final assessment
It says whether the level is acquired. If it does not, seven one-to-one hours target what is blocking, at CHF 70 an hour.
Club courses
Fixed price, online, bought one at a time and available in the members’ area as soon as they are paid for. The first ones are coming; the waiting list will hear about them first.
